WorksafeBC Dietitian Approval

Weight gain can occur due to a work-related injury or disease ranging from problems like reduced mobility, medications that cause weight gain, and mental health problems.  You are entitled to consult with a dietitian.

Our dietitians are licensed and preapproved by Work Safe BC.  Make a worksafe claim right away.  You can check the claim status online.  Get a verbal approval from Work Safe BC each time for your nutrition appointment by calling the Teleclaim team.

ICBC Dietitian for Injury Claims

Has your eating become impaired due to your injury, PTSD or have you gained weight since your injury?

If you haven’t reported your accident, here’s how to report a claim. Every B.C. resident is eligible for health benefits, regardless of fault. If weight gain or loss is affecting your recovery, speak to your ICBC recovery specialist updated about your injury.  For example, if your health care provider recommends that you see an ICBC dietitian, keeping your specialist updated means you can get started sooner.

Medavive Blue Cross

Both Veteran’s Affairs Dietitian and the RCMP Dietitian are covered by the government of Canada because nutrition services are not covered by the medical services plan.

As with all of the above service, you must be preapproved by the provider and we will direct bill Blue Cross on your behalf at the current rate.

Note: Does not include wheelchair or seating assessments. Good positioning must be achievable with existing equipment.

Autism Dietitian

Your child has a right to a healthy diet even though his ability to relate with others or handle changes to a routine creates some challenges or her relationship with food is troubled.

Rachel is preapproved with MCFD Funding and will invoice on your behalf.  Complete this Request to Pay and book an appointment with the dietitian
